For your consideration we are offering this brand new factory fresh, OEM GM® IO5 2.5 HMI complete upgrade kit with PROJECTION feature. By simply adding this kit to your vehicle, you will have CarPlay/Android Auto projection for smartphones. This kit will come to your door custom pre-programmed so it will plug & play. No wire splicing just plug it in.

Please note: Your vehicle must currently have the 8″ touch screen for this kit to be compatible. (Not compatible with RPO code IO3, IO4 or IOB). If your not sure which system you have now, just email us your VIN before purchasing. We will look up your vehicle to be sure it’s compatible.

Features…

Projection feature. This feature will add Carplay + Android Auto to select 2014 or 2015 vehicles, it will mirror select smart phone functions on the 8″ screen.

NOTE: Audio related steering wheel controls MAY NOT work while using Android Auto or Carplay. This is because you do not have a 2016+ Cluster. We do not sell or program the clusters.

Faster response time & user friendly menu, it out performs the older 2014 & 2015 HMI modules.

With text to voice feature, receive & listen to text messages.

What You Need To Know…

No core exchange necessary, you can keep your old module. The vehicle will not start without the HMI module installed. Do not let the dealer reprogram this HMI module.

If currently equipped the time shift audio recording and icon themes will no longer available.

If you don’t currently have a rear camera you will see an error message when in reverse.

In some vehicles the steering wheel audio controls will no longer be available. The USB SD card reader will no longer be available.

Return Policy (Please Read)

30 day returns. Item must be in original box with receipt and has NOT been installed to receive a full refund.

If Item has been installed a restocking fee of $200 will be applied.

Why do I not get all my money back?: Because these are special programmed to your vehicle. As soon as you plug and HMI or Radio into your vehicle it “locks” to your VIN. This is to deter people from stealing these modules to be used in other vehicles. This locking is meant to be permanent. It is a lot of extra work to reset the HMI to be able to be resold and we can no longer sell it as new.

All items over $500 ship 2-3 Day with a Signature confirmation.

International shipping is a $50 flat flat charge. Items ship USPS Priority Mail International

LEAD TIMES

Items that require programming have a 1-3 business day lead time before item can be shipped.

BACKORDERS

Some items are backordered because I special order items for you based off your vehicle needs. These items typically take 3-5 days to come in but this is subject to GM availability.  This insures the you receive the newest GM part number available. This also keeps my overhead a bit lower so I can charge you less.
